Role play is more than just fun....

Role play is one of the key elements of learning. It engages emotion, cognition, language and sensory motor skills.

It allows children to act out and make sense of real-life situations, to explore, investigate and experiment. Children's social skills are developed as they play with others. Role play encourages empathy as the child takes on the role of another character.

Role play sparks creativity and imagination and encourages children to learn more as learning is disguised as play. At Sweet Peas Play Cafe we are passionate about play and aim to offer your precious children a safe space to allow their imaginations to be set free.
